Two builders,
one studio.

Harbor Point is Rob and Ty. Two friends, two senior builders, and — on purpose — no one else. Here's the whole story, because there isn't a hidden org chart behind it.

The Studio How we got here · Bearing 000° Rob & Ty
A small New Jersey harbor town waterfront with moored fishing boats and weathered docks on a quiet morning Plate — Home waters, New Jersey

We kept ending up on the same boat.

For years, we each ran our own solo web studio. That's a good life — you own the work, you talk straight to your clients, nothing gets lost in a chain of command. But solo has a ceiling. When a project got big or a deadline got tight, we'd call each other in. One of us would take the build, the other the design, and the work always came out better for having two experienced people on it instead of one.

After enough of those, the obvious happened: we made it official. Harbor Point Technologies is the two of us, together, on purpose. Not a founder-plus-freelancers arrangement, not a shop that plans to grow into fifteen juniors. Two senior builders who like the work and like doing it well. That's the entire company, and we intend to keep it that way.

We're based in New Jersey and we build for business owners across the United States. The internet doesn't care where the harbor is.

The two of us.

Rob

Takes the helm

Rob leads on structure, build, and performance — the part of the work that decides whether a page loads in a blink or makes someone wait. He's the reason our sites are hand-coded and fast, and the one who sweats the things you never see but always feel.

  • Build & front-end engineering
  • Performance & accessibility
  • Technical SEO & structure

Ty

Takes the chart

Ty leads on design, brand, and the details — how a site looks, reads, and feels to the person deciding whether to trust you. He's the one who makes sure the finished thing looks like it was made for your business and nobody else's.

What we believe.

A website should be built like it matters — because for a small business, it does. It's often the first impression, the storefront, and the salesperson all at once.

So we build the way we'd want someone to build for us: by hand, fast, honest about cost, and close enough to the client that nothing gets lost. We take on fewer projects than a bigger shop could, and we're fine with that. It means every site gets both of us, all the way through — and that's the whole point of Harbor Point.
