The colors you fly.

A ship is known by its flags before you can read the name on the hull. Your brand is the same — a coherent kit of logo, color, type, and voice that makes everything you publish unmistakably yours.

Section The signal kit · Bearing 022° One coherent look

A look that holds together.

Most small businesses don't have a bad brand — they have five slightly different ones. A logo made years ago, a color that drifted, a font the last person happened to like, a tone that changes with whoever's writing that day. From a distance it reads as noise, and noise doesn't build trust.

We fix that by treating your brand like a signal kit: a small, deliberate set of elements that always travel together. We start with what your business actually is — who you serve, how you want to feel to them, what you're not — and we work outward to a mark, a palette, a pair of typefaces, and a voice that all agree with each other. Nothing decorative for its own sake. Every choice has a reason we can explain to you in plain words.

Because the same two people design your brand and build your site, nothing gets lost in translation. There's no branding agency handing a PDF to a web team who then interpret it loosely. The exact colors, the exact type, the exact tone go straight into the code. What you approve on paper is what ships on the screen — and what your sign maker, your printer, and your next designer can all work from.

You come away with a tidy kit you own: logo files in every format, your palette values, your chosen type, and a short guide so it stays consistent long after we've sailed off. Small business, sharp signal.

Questions Frequently asked · Bearing 180° Straight answers

Before you email us.

Can you do just a logo, or is it the whole brand?

Either. Some clients need a single clean logo; others want the full kit — logo, colors, type, and voice. We'll tell you honestly which one your business actually needs so you're not paying for more than that.

Do I need a brand before you build my website?

Not always. If you already have a look you're happy with, we'll build to it. If your brand is inconsistent or aging, sorting it out first makes the whole site stronger — and we can do both in one pass.

What do I actually receive?

Logo files in every format you'll need, a defined color palette with the exact values, chosen typefaces, and a short guide for how to use them. Everything you'd hand to a printer, a sign maker, or your next designer.

Will the brand match my new site?

Exactly. Because the same two people design your brand and build your site, the colors, type, and tone carry straight through — no translation lost between a branding agency and a web team.
